The vineyard of Cote 425
In the heart of the Porte Sud vineyards, open to the plain and overlooking the town of Cernay, the Côte 425 vineyard offers a breathtaking view of the Alsace plain.
In this unique vineyard, entirely destroyed during the First World War and then replanted in 1920, you will find traces of the conflict and the fighting (monuments, old bunkers...). Its soil and its exposure offer a production favourable to the Pinot Noir, including the famous red of Steinbach, and all the Alsatian grape varieties can be found there.
Starting from the Birling chapel, a 5km wine trail leads you on the traces of the history of this unique vineyard.
