The Joffre Route
The Joffre Route
The Joffre Route, like its big sister the Route des Crêtes, was born out of the need for the French to travel quickly through the Vosges during the First World War. Today, it is a tourist route that attracts all nature lovers and offers magnificent panoramas. Connecting Bitschwiller-lès-Thann to Masevaux, the landscapes of this circuit are clearly worth the diversions, whether you take it on foot, by bike or by car.
