The mining sites are particularly numerous in this part of Alsace. Here, you can discover the Joseph Else potash mine museum in Wittelsheim, or explore the mines of the Vallon du Silberthal in Steinbach or of Bourbach-le-Bas, on the footsteps of the 19th century miners.
